OSHO Meditation Practices: Gourishankar Meditation

This meditation lasts 1 hour and consists of 4 stages, 15 minutes each. The first two stages prepare the meditator for spontaneous Latihan in the third stage. If breathing is performed correctly in the first stage, carbon dioxide formed in the blood will make you feel as if you are on Gurishankar (Everest).

Step by step guide

Gourishankar Meditation 1st stage – 15 minutes:

Sit with your eyes closed. Inhale deeply through the nose, filling the lungs. Hold your breath for as long as possible. Continue this respiratory rhythm throughout the first stage.

Step by step guide

Gourishankar Meditation 2st stage – 15 minutes:

Return to the normal breathing and look freely to the candle flame or the flashing blue light. Keep your body straight.

Gourishankar Meditation 3rd stage – 15 minutes:

Stand up with your eyes closed and let your body be relaxed and receptive. Feel the subtle energies moving through your body beyond your normal control. Let this latihan happen. Do not make movements, let them happen gently and gracefully. Get into a spontaneous dance.

Gourishankar Meditation 4th stage – 15 minutes:

Lie silently and motionless with your eyes closed.
